Lark drags himself through the staff entrance. His back hurts. His feet hurt. His stomach is making a noise that sounds like a drain.
Your shift: clock in, find the BWS delivery cage in the warehouse, and wheel it out to Aisle 10 — Beers, Wines & Spirits.
The cage is wobbly. Turn gently, don't sprint, don't hit things. If anything falls off, you have to mop it up.
Avoid the managers. If they catch you they'll lecture you and give you a job to do against the clock. Fail three jobs and you're sacked.
Customers will want you to show them to products. Fob them off and they might complain to a manager…
Oh, and staff keep saying they've seen a badger in the store. Probably nonsense.
